Реципрокные скрещивания — скрещивания А и В форм в двух вариантах: (1) ♀А ‰ ♂B и (2) ♀
Скрещивание реципрокное — скрещивание двух линий (пород, сортов и т. д.), когда сначала особи одной линии являются материнскими (напр., А), а другой — отцовскими (напр., В), т. е. скрещиваются А ´ В, а затем наоборот — В ´ А. С. р. используют для выявления генов, сцепленных с полом, определения материнского или цитоплазматического наследования (cм. Реципрокные гибриды).
